About MYFFA

Metro Youth Flag Football Association (MYFFA) will provide opportunities for children in the Council Bluffs Metro Area to play flag football. We believe that no young person should be denied the opportunity to participate in this program due to the inability to pay registration fees. MYFFA will offer a limited amount of financial scholarships to these families. All scholarship families must meet certain guidelines and proper paperwork will need to be filled out and turned in to MYFFA.

MYFFA purchases flags, footballs, and field markings. We are hoping to offset the cost of expenses through concessions, private donations, and fundraising. The spring of 2008 will be MYFFA first season. We are hoping for the generosity of businesses and or organizations, to sponsor some teams and in return MYFFA will put the businesses and organizations logo on banners that will be displayed at every game, In our end of the season newsletter,on our website and a thank you ad in the The Daily Nonpareil.

MYFFA is lucky to have a large group of positive volunteer coaches who love coaching children. Their generous time, commitment, and personal dedication will make this program successful, positive and well-respected in the metro area. We are glad to welcome new faces so if you are interested in coaching a team give us a call.

MYFFA is a Iowa non-profit corporation, with an IRS 501(c)(3) status. This allows any individual or business to make tax deductible contributions to our organization. We are also eligible for most employer matching funds programs. We hope you will join our program and have some fun playing football
